Once you experience her passion for what she does, you will keep going back to her. I highly recommend going to Geeli Mitti just to meet Shagun if nothing else. The list is of small treats you get while you are here is an endless one: like getting home made facepacks and hair shampoo from Shagun, movies marathons, dancing, singing, cooking, trekking in the morning and at night, celebrating birthdays like little kids do and so much more! Besides this, the stars, the silence, the sounds of nature, the people and their many stories were a beautiful cherry on cake! We got a hands on experience in pretty.much every aspect of building a home using natural materials from scratch! We danced away while we teamed on the many tasks that went into building our Yoga space by the chirpy river. The workshop was a great place to start with in my unlearning of all that I was taught/thought about building materials. It was a workshop that opened my eyes to so many new possibilities of living in sync with nature, to become more aware of the my daily choices, to become more responsible of my actions in order to make a difference. Ahhh, what can I say about Geeli Mitti and the gorgeous, saintly, quirky, charismatic witch, Shagun who runs the show up there! No words can do justice to my experience of a workshop on basics on sustainable housing that I attended in March 2022.
